SEMCOG
Regional Economic and Demographic Forecast
presented by Jeff Nutting
Southeast Michigan Council of Governments SEMCOG has started development of the 2055 Regional Forecast, which provides a thirty-year analysis of population, employment, housing, and land use change for each community in the Southeast Michigan region. This will be a valuable presentation for all fire chiefs on the future of southeast Michigan.
Jeff Nutting is the Forecast Coordinator for SEMCOG's Data Analysis group. He focuses on analyzing regional development patterns to anticipate future infrastructure needs and has 30 years of experience in socioeconomic forecasting. Jeff has a master's degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University.
